Murder By Numbers was born out of a desire to celebrate the remarkable discography of the musical legend Sting and his band The Police. The four musicians, each making their way to Los Angeles from the four corners of the world, were literally drawn together to play Police songs at various jam nights where they met in L.A. Later, in 2020, when the whole world came to a screeching halt and everything shut down, (When the world is running down, you make the best of what’s still around) they sent each other recordings and started making videos of themselves playing Police songs under the name The Police Lockdown. The reaction they got from the videos was undeniable and once everything went back to normal again, Murder By Numbers had one mission and that was to take over the world! A tribute band drawing inspiration from the distinctive sound of The Police, Sting’s lyrical genius, and unforgettable melodies, Murder By Numbers sounds so much like the real thing, bringing the music to life for fans old and new who share in the profound love for the music of Sting and The Police.
